The 2nd Qualifier match of IPL 2024 was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bowl.
Sunrisers Hyderabad Innings:
Two aggressive openers – Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma came to open for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Although Abhishek Sharma hit one six and one four in the first over of the powerplay, Trent Boult dismissed him in the last ball of the first over. He scored 12 runs in 5 balls. After that, Rahul Tripathi came to bat. Rahul Tripathi was very aggressive from the start of his innings. Trent Boult dismissed him in the fifth over.
