The 69th match of IPL 2024 was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings. The match was organized at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Punjab Kings won the toss and elected to bat.
Punjab Kings Innings:
Punjab Kings was captained by Jitesh Sharma today. Rilee Rossouw was the only foreigner in the starting eleven of Punjab Kings in this match. Prabhsimran Singh and Atharva Taide came to open for Punjab Kings. Both batted well. In the powerplay, they played some great shots. At the end of the first 6 overs of the powerplay, Punjab Kings scored 61 runs without losing any wickets.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Innings:
For Sunrisers Hyderabad two devastating openers – Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma came to open. But in the first ball of the first over, Arshdeep Singh dismissed Travis Head for 0. After that, Rahul Tripathi came to bat. The batting of the Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen did not seem to have any effect even after the dismissal of Travis Head In the first over. Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi batted brilliantly in the powerplay. Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 50 runs in 4 overs.
