Teams in the group of East Bengal and Mohun Bagan:
A total of 24 teams are participating in this competition. The teams have been divided into a total of 6 groups. East Bengal and Mohun Bagan are not in the same group in this year’s Durand Cup, so there is no derby in the group stage in this year’s Durand Cup. East Bengal is in Group A and Mohun Bagan is in Group B. The remaining teams except East Bengal in Group A are: South United FC, Indian Air Force FT, and Namdhari FC. The remaining teams except Mohun Bagan in Group B are: Mohammedan SC, Diamond Harbour FC, and BSF FT.
