Two Australian openers David Warner and Mitchell Marsh got off to a great start for Delhi Capitals. After the first 3 overs Delhi Capitals run was 29 for no loss. But Nandre Burger took two wickets in the 4th over. Mitchell Marsh was bowled out for 23 on the second ball of this over and Ricky Bhui got out for 0 runs in the 4th ball of this over.
After that, David Warner and captain Rishabh Pant made a partnership of 67 runs in 48 balls. When this partnership was looking dangerous for Rajasthan Royals, Avesh Khan broke the partnership in the 12th over. He dismissed David Warner. David Warner scored 49 off 34 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes.
